Todd Bollinger has always been passionate about horses and the horse industry. In 1996, he decided to make his passion, his career. He moved from Northern California to Oklahoma and attended the Oklahoma Horseshoeing School, graduate of class of 1996. To further his knowledge base he apprenticed under Jack Roth, the owner of the Oklahoma Horseshoeing School and helped to teach students at the school for the next year. In 1997 he decided to move back home to Northern California to start building his client base. He apprenticed under Alan Maraviglia for the next year and branched off starting his own business.
Staying current in the farrier industry is important to Todd, so he regularly attends conventions, clinics and seminars to continue his education. Some of the continuing education courses he has attended are AFA Conventions, Farriers Focus (Doug Butler), Western States Farriers Conventions, Bob Marshall Clinics, Gene Ovnicek Seminars (Natural Balance) and UC Davis’ Farrier Semiars. Todd’s clients would describe him as knowledgeable, responsible, prompt, proactive, and caring.
